Experienced KS2 Class Teacher, required from September 2025

Contract:  initial one year full time fixed term.  The contract will be fixed term due to accommodating a "bulge" class moving through the school, and the skills and experiences of the existing teaching team, but with the possibility of becoming permanent thereafter.

Salary:  TMS 3 or 4 (£35,674 to £38,034 per annum)

We are seeking an experienced Key Stage 2 teacher with a proven track record who has the skills and ability to confidently teach in different year groups within the key stage

Receptionist/Welfare Assistant, required from September 2025

Grade 5/6, £24,790 to £25,183 pro rata (equivalent to £12.85/£13.05 per hour)

Permanent, term-time only, including one INSET day.

Harlands Primary School Office is seeking a new team member with strong interpersonal skills to be part of the front face of Harlands from September 2025.

The main duties of this role will be to act as the School Receptionist, dealing with visitors with due regard to fire safety and safeguarding procedures.

The other main duties of this role will be around pupil welfare, including all first aid/medical matters, and related to this, the monitoring of attendance.

Excellent organisational skills are essential, along with great flexibility and ability to cope with multi-tasking as there will be frequent interruptions.  Confidentiality is paramount.  As part of the wider Office team, the successful candidate will need to be a team player who is reliable, robust and resilient, willing to turn their hand to any unexpected task that is likely to arise in a busy school environment with young children.

The post will be for 26 hours per week, ideally to be worked as follows:  

Monday 8.20am-2.00pm
Tuesday DAY OFF
Wednesday to Friday inclusive 8.20am-3.30pm
