Salary: NJC Payscale Grade 3.3 (c. £12.85 per hour) subject to national pay awards

We are looking for a reliable and enthusiastic Club Catering Assistant to support our busy After School Club. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a children's environment and takes pride in maintaining a clean, safe, and organised kitchen.
Key Responsibilities
- Preparing and serving simple snacks and refreshments.
- Washing up and maintaining high standards of kitchen cleanliness.
- Supporting stock control and food storage procedures.
- Ensuring food hygiene and health and safety standards are followed at all times.
- Assisting with setting up and clearing away food service areas.
- Working as part of a friendly team to provide an excellent experience for children attending the club.
We Are Looking For Someone Who:
- Is reliable, punctual and hardworking.
- Has a positive and flexible approach to work.
- Understands the importance of food hygiene and cleanliness, training will be provided to all team members.
- Enjoys working in a school environment.
- Can work independently and as part of a team.
- Previous kitchen or catering experience is desirable but not essential, as training will be provided.

WRAPAROUND CHILDCARE & HOLIDAY CLUB PLAY LEADERS
National Joint Council Grade 4-6, £13.05-£13.47 per hour, depending on experience (subject to pay award review for support staff)

Do you enjoy working with children?
Harlands Primary School is looking to recruit playleaders for our new in-house wraparound care provision which will become operational from 1 September.
Role Purpose
We are seeking enthusiastic and empathetic individuals to help deliver engaging and fun activities for the children in our care before and after school. This will include the supervision of meal times.
The successful candidates will need to understand and model our core values of Responsibility, Optimism, Confidence, Kindness, Critical Thinking, and Respect, playing their part in sustaining our inclusive and engaging learning environment after the day’s formal education has ended.
Key Skills and Qualities
- Enthusiastic and empathetic with children
- Enjoy activities such as sports and/or arts and crafts.
- Good communicator
- Able to think on your feet, to keep children engaged and happy
- Good time management
Working pattern/terms and conditions
Our breakfast club will run between 7.00 and 8.30am each morning, whilst the after school club operates between 3.00-6.30pm each afternoon. Play leaders would be expected to arrive shortly before these times to allow for daily briefing.
Holiday clubs are normally run between the hours of 8.30am-5.30pm.
The successful candidates would ideally work for a minimum of two morning and two afternoon shifts per week, with opportunity to work up to five of each. This will be discussed at interview.
